Hanok Cafe, “Dao”

 If you walk inside from Hyehwa Station Exit 1, Cafe Dao is a cozy cafe with a hanok interior. The owner's careful consideration stood out, including the dessert display, beverage menu, and service table with blankets, water, and syrup. The window seat was really cool with the rafters and the view of Hanok outside. I felt like I was on a time machine. The signature drinks here are "Black sesame cream latte," "Apple verity," "Peanut cream latte," and the popular dessert menus are "Black sesame gyato cake," and "Sweet pumpkin gyato cake."It's called mugwort chocolate. There are many other menus, so you can choose whatever you like. When I finished looking around the cafe, the menu I ordered came out. Sweet pumpkin Gyato piece cake that I ordered for dessert! The cake, which consists of whipped cream, sweet pumpkin mousse, and sweet pumpkin sheet, was so delicious that even those who hate crops thought it would be delicious. The moderately sweet and soft texture was impressive.

Daehakro Theater, “Forest of Memory”

 If you come out of Hyehwa Station Exit 2 and walk about 250m, you can see the Uniplex Small Theater with a nice appearance. The ticket office of the Theater Memories Forest is located on the first floor like the picture above. You can make a reservation through the Internet for the Theater Memory Forest, but you'd better go ahead and get a good seat because you'll be assigned a spot ticket. The Play Memory Forest is playing on the 4th floor of Uniflex. If you go up to the 4th floor of Uniflex, you can see the place where you can sit and wait, the synopsis, the poster with the cast on the day, and the seating arrangement of the 3rd hall. If you go on time for the concert, it's hard to take pictures on the TODAY'S CAST board, so go up a little early and take pictures and wait. In the case of Uniflex 3, it can accommodate up to 200 people.

The Story of the Forest of the Memories

 A psychiatrist and a murderer sit face to face in a dark and dull interrogation room. The rare killer, who brutally murdered 17 people and kept the bodies in his basement locker as if they were in a morgue, tells strange stories and answers to the psychiatrist's question whether he knows his crime or not. Review of The Forest of Memories

 The Forest of Theater Memory is a thriller, which can be a bit dark, and I think the comedy and interesting contents that do not obscure the atmosphere of the play in between have increased the immersion of the play. If the atmosphere of the play is dark, it can get boring, but I think I watched it with concentration and not bored at all. "The Forest of Theater Memory" includes psychological warfare between psychiatrists and murderers, psychological warfare between psychiatrists and mothers, images of mothers depicted inside their sons, puzzles of forgotten memories in the meantime, and even unpredictable twists. It was a play that had many points to watch. As I said earlier, the forest of theater memories should not cloud the atmosphere of the play much, so there is little communication between actors and audiences compared to other plays. I think it's a play that can be a good option for those who like to sit comfortably in the front seat and watch without communication. For those who like unexpected mystery thrillers, I recommend watching "Forest of Memories"!

“Perfume Graphy”, a perfume shop that you can freely test

 Perfume Graphy is a place that people who like perfume know. It is said that it gained popularity by meeting the needs of customers through the online shopping mall "Scented." You can think of Perfume Graphy as an offline version here. It is located on the 2nd floor of Daehak-ro Artbox Building, and if you go to the back of the building, you can't find the entrance, and it's not open on Mondays, so please refer to it! In addition to the popular Nichi perfume brand, Jo Malone/Diptyque/Byredo, you can also find numerous perfumes from a wide variety of brands, including Serge lutens, Bully, Goutalparis, Le Labo, and Tom Ford. The best thing about perfumery is that the clerk doesn't come near it. Actually, the price of perfumes isn't cheap. So it's true that it's burdensome to have a clerk next to you just by testing. Even if I don't like it, I feel like I need to buy it quickly However, you can freely test the scent, and you can record the scent that you tested with the test paper and pencils in between.

Good atmosphere, good food, “Pasta market”

 You can infer from the name of the pasta market, but it's a Western restaurant. You can find it right away if you come out of Hyehwa Station Exit 3 and walk for about 3 minutes. What's unique is that it's a Western restaurant, but it's a renovated hanok, so I could feel the "hip" atmosphere with a fusion-traditional feeling. And this restaurant is marked for one and 1.5 servings on each menu, so it would be better to refer to it when ordering. I ordered "Steak and Cream Pane" and "Rikota Clashka," the signature menus of the pasta market.

 Steak cream pane was much better than I expected. The combination of light noodles, thick sauce, savory panne bread soaked in the sauce, and soft and salty steak was impressive. In particular, there is nurungji at the bottom of the panne, and it upgraded the pasta texture that can be monotonous because it is savory and crispy. Ricotta clasica is a salad and pizza with ricotta cheese salad and cheese calzone. Calzone is an Italian dish that is baked in an oven by making a half-moon shape with meat, cheese, and vegetables between flour dough. This place is a cheese calzone, so there is only mozzarella cheese in the bread, and even the simple combination was so delicious. I felt like I was eating a healthy Italian pizza like Lucola pizza when I put ricotta cheese salad on top of a calzone. The bread was light and the salad was fresh, so it was crispy and tasted clean. In fact, the biggest point of this restaurant is that you can eat and enjoy hanok outdoors, but it was regrettable that I ate indoors because of the rain. I hope you enjoy eating outdoors on a sunny day!
